Ex-Wizards Abroad

  • Eddie Johnson will not debut for Fulham today in their match against Bolton, as he is not yet available. Numerous articles from yesterday say he is still in the states finalizing paperwork, though ThisIsLondon reports that he was given full international clearance today. EJ’s next chance will be Sunday when Fulham hosts Aston Villa.
  • EJ’s former teammate and fellow yank abroad, Josh Wolff played 54 minutes for 1860 Munich in their Round of 16 DFB Pokal match versus Alemannia Aachen. 1860 Munich is currently losing 2-0 in the 72nd minute, and will resume their Bundesliga 2 season on February 3rd. UPDATE: 1860 has pulled two back in the 83rd and 85th minutes!  And there’s the third in the 89th!!!  The 1860 comeback earns them a spot in the quarterfinals.
